Why do we exist?
Have you ever thought of that?
There must be a reason why I was born and chosen to be a human.
Why I wasn't a tree or a cat.
There must be some system running all this life.
I mean when it comes to us, we do things for a reason.
I work to get money to live.
I sleep to rest my body and feel better.
I got a car to be able to go from one place to another.
Everything we do has a reason whether we think about it or realize it or not.
That is talking about ourselves as only humans.
But this happens with everything Animals hunt to eat because they are hungry.
Plants tilt to the side of light because they want to grow and survive And so on.
So if everything is happening for a reason it is all very logical and makes sense to our primitive brains.
How could it be that we were created for no reason? No aim of our existence !! That can not be right.
So let us agree on the first concept
We were created for a reason and a purpose for sure.
Now, I know for sure I did not create it myself.. simply because I know I can't do it now.
If you have done something before, you will know how to do it again and again right?
If I prepare pasta bolognese once, I will be able to do it again when I want to.
But the fact is I have never created not only a human!! Haven't created anything at all, makes me sure that I don't know how to do that and for sure I did not create myself or even a tiny mosquito.
I am pretty sure you know the same, you know you did not create yourself. isn't it?
Please if anyone thinks he/she created themselves tell us how? We are interested to know.
But for now, as long as I know I did not create myself, then I am sure someone did! I did not just pop out on this earth from nowhere with no plan.
And guess who is the best at telling me why I am here?
How I can survive?
What is my ending?
Am I staying here forever? or temporarily?
Where will I go next?
What am I supposed to do in this life?
It is the one who created me for sure, the only one who knows all these answers.
Like for example any machine or device we buy! The first time we get it, we have no idea how it should be started, how it operates, what can it do for us, and for how long it will be still working.
But we go back to the manual that comes with it to look for all those answers right?
Why do we do that?
Simply because no one knows all the answers to those questions better than the one who invented it, created it, put its pieces together, knows exactly the role of each part, why he put it there, how it should function, for how long it will last and even what is the best way to get rid of it when not working anymore.
So the concept we get out of this would be concept #2
The only one who knows how we function, what is the best way for us to function properly, and what our end will be is the one who created us. That is our creator!
Now having said that, and with all the logic that this concept carries, isn't it weird that still some of us think that other than our creator, knows us better, knows what is good and bad for us, gives us instructions on how to live, and what should we do and so on?
It can not be! Especially when this other is just another human!! Just like me and you who did not create themselves to start with or even have the knowledge nor the ability to do so.
So I feel here I can say concept #3
True faith is very logical and makes sense in all aspects!
Now can it be that our creator made us and left us without any manual?? What is the point then of our existence? Why did he make us from the beginning? That can not be the case. And that is actually what happened for real. Our creator who I believe as a Muslim is the only God worth worshiping is Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala, "The most glorified, the most high" did send us a manual from the beginning of the creation and all the reminders he sent us later on. carrying the same message!
Allah is our creator! And he subhanaho wa ta’ala wants us to surrender to him.
This is exactly the meaning of the word Islam which is surrender.
This is simply what Islam is all about! Believing that Allah is the only creator and for that, he is the only one worth worshiping.. and surrendering to all his orders.
That is it! Very clear, very logical
Not only he sent us our manual when subhanaho wa ta’ala first created us!
No, he kept on sending us reminders again and again and even showed us live examples on the end of those who did not surrender or believe in him and that is out of his mercy on us
He could have just told us the first time and that is it right!
But he kept on reminding us and giving us a second and third to take the right path as he wants us all to get his reward.
Unfortunately still until now people are refusing and denying all of this.
Is it out of literacy? Ignorance? Unwillingness to hear the truth?
God only knows But that brings us to the 4th concept
Islam has been the only true religion since the beginning of humanity, and will always be present and will continue to be till the end of life.
Those who use their brains and are honest with themselves will realize it is the only true religion.
Those who decide to continue refusing it will also definitely realize it is the only true religion But unfortunately, too late!
When they reach the point of no return. and the only option for them would be to take their punishment for not surrendering during their lives.
Why am I so sure about that?
Because I have a trusted source for what I am saying! These are the words Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala, "The most glorified, the most high" has told us.
It makes no sense to me to leave the words of my creator and believe the words of one of his tremendous creations! Just another human like myself.
Now should I be happy I was created as a human?
The answer is of course.
Allah has told us we humans are at the highest level of his creations
( وَلَقَدْ كَرَّمْنَا بَنِي آدَمَ)
[ الإسراء: 70]
(And We have certainly honored the children of Adam)
We were given brains and the ability to think and conceptualize things.
Why is that special? Because this will give us the chance to get the rewards that no other creature will get in there after!
Only if we used our brains correctly. The rewards you will get as a loyal Muslim, no other creature would be able to get.
As other creatures either cannot think so it is not possible to judge them! Or don't have the ability of anything other than obeying Allah Like the Angels, they have no choice so how would they gain different rewards?
But for us as humans, Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala, "The most glorified, the most high" gave us respect and the ability to think, we can make our own choices and we will be rewarded based on them
That is why some of us can get very high rewards no other creature can ever have.
That is how Allah subhanaho wa ta’alla has honored us.
Do you think Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala, "The most glorified, the most high" needs our prayers? Charity? Our surrender to him?
The answer is of course No!
Allah is asking us to do these things to know who is worthy to get the great reward he subhanaho wa ta’ala has made for us.
So basically, We need to do these things for Ourselves.
We do need Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala, "The most glorified, the most high" to accept our deeds!
Not the other way around.
Concept 5
We need to resize ourselves..Allah subhanahu wata’ala does not need our worship! We need his acceptance.
We must realize that all of us humans from the first man till the end of the world, with all other creatures on earth, to Allah’s kingdom, are just as a particle of sand compared to all the deserts on earth.
We need to understand our true size when we are talking about Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala, "The most glorified, the most high"
